Summary: Upon arrival, we noticed that the floors in our room were dirty. Enough so, that my baby’s feet turned black from walking around in the room. There was a large spider web under our dining room table as well as thick dust on top of the fridge and behind the tv. Random trash from previous guests like hair ties and fishing weights were found around our headboard when trying to plug in our phones. Foil lined the bottom of the oven which I’m assuming is so they do not have to clean it every time but apparently there was something left behind because when I tried to cook breakfast, smoke filled the oven and room from something burning on the bottom and I just gave up. There is very minimal cookware so if you are planning to make a meal I would suggest bringing your own. The pool was very cloudy and when walking around, you could feel dirt and algae on your feet. I reached out to guest services to let them know of the issues that we were having so they could be aware. I even included in the message that we didn’t wish for anyone to come clean as it was a short stay and we honestly just wanted our privacy for the remainder but they didn’t even bother to respond with an apology. Though the location and property were very pretty, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep did not match the price for the stay.
