Welcome to That Yellow Door! Amazing location: 5 mins drive from lake & 8 mins drive from snow summit. Enjoy the outdoors of Big Bear without sacrificing comfort and amenities in our cabin. This home boasts a wood burning fire place, 8 person spa, peek-a-boo lake views & 2000 sq ft of outdoor decking on .33 acre land. We are set back 100 feet from the street. We back up to 5 acres of unbuilt preserved land. We have no full time neighbors or rental properties to the left or right of our property. You can't beat this large forest lined property offering tranquility while you soak up the lake and Mountain View’s.
Upon your arrival you will see a courtyard entrance perfect for games or snow play. As you make your way towards That Yellow Door you are greeted by a large 400 sq ft concrete outdoor roofed area made to help you transition your belongings into the home. The downstairs features the main bedroom with an en suite bath with full shower and jetted tub and direct access to the downstairs deck. A full bathroom complete with a shower/tub combo, washer and dryer, bedroom 2 with a queen bed and direct access to the down stairs deck and outdoor spa. The upstairs has it's own entrance through the 2nd story deck and has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Upstairs bedroom 1 has direct access to the upper deck with amazing lake views. Upstairs bedroom 2 (great for kids) has no deck access and a total of 3 beds, a queen, full and trundle twin. Each room in the house has stunning forest views.
The large front yard makes parking a breeze during any season. The large driveway is set on a plowing schedule once there is 4” or more of cover. Pull your car right up the the brand new covered porch area and unload your car with ease. No need to stress about turning your car around during the snow season or hiking up a huge flight of stairs to enter the house. Don’t let your kids slow play on the streets, our .33 acre property is perfect for snow playing.
