Both the Indian and Sturgeon River run through town and make for great boating and fishing. Indian River also boasts extensive access to Bike and Snowmobile/Four Wheel Trails. Indian River has a vibrant downtown with many excellent restaurants and shops. Our area is known for Multi-Seasonal Hunting and Fishing,. Mushroom Hunting, and our Fall Color Scenery We are within a mile from various attractions: Cross in the Woods, North Central Bike/Snowmobile Trailhead, Big Bear Adventures, Burt Lake State Park with boat launch and beach, the Sturgeon River, and Downtown Indian River.
