Our three-bedroom two bath country cottage has all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable and all the charms of a mountain getaway. If you are a couple looking to get away from it all or a multi-generational family having a holiday get together, Honeycrisp Cottage at Rumbling Bald Resort is right for you! The open plan living area has a fully stocked newly renovated kitchen for preparing great meals for family and friends. We have all the small appliances, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and glasses to prepare a holiday meal or an intimate dinner for two. In the summer, spring and fall you will find pots filled with fresh herbs that are there for the picking! We have a lovely dining area with a farmers table and a comfy living room with a gas fireplace, brand new flat screen TV for viewing satellite channels, Netflix, Amazon or bring your own films to play on the new DVD player. There are three bedrooms; a master suite with King-size bed and private bath on one side of the house and on the other side a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bathroom with shower and tub. We have stocked the house with books, games, puzzles and DVDs for those nights you just want to stay in. There is a secluded deck off the living room with a gas grill and outdoor table for dining in the warmer weather. The house is fully air conditioned (new air conditioner just installed) in the summer (although you will want to throw the windows open for the crisp cool summer evenings) and well heated for the winter. This is a four seasons rental, we are set up comfortably for 6 people. We provide all linens, toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and other essentials for getting your vacation off to a good start...the cupboards are filled with spices, oils, vinegars, mustards and other mainstays to start you on your cooking experience. Our guests have thrown great dinner parties and barbecues for friends and family. We do accept well behaved dogs, sorry no cats.
