With lofted woodbeam ceilings and forest views, this bright sunny cabin features a well-equipped kitchen and deck with seating and BBQ grill. It is located just 5 minutes from the Pacific Crest Trail and many other hiking and mountain biking trails on Donner Summit. In winter there are 4 ski resorts within 10 minute drive.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms. The Primary bedroom has a queen bed and a convertible futon cot. The Bunk room has a double bed and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and twin on top. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom equipped with amenities like shampoo, a hair dryer and shower.
The well-equipped kitchen has a microwave, toaster, slow cooker, rice cooker, coffee grinder, coffee maker and drip coffeepot. A second-story deck with forest and ski slope views features a BBQ grill, table and chairs, a sofa, and coffee bar. Guests may use the washer/dryer in the unit.
A General Store with groceries, beer/wine, deli sandwiches and pizza is within walking distance. The driveway has ample parking for 2-4 cars. Drive to Donner Lake in 10 minutes, Truckee in 15, Lake Tahoe in 30.
