Welcome to our family cabin, a place where comfort & time together is a priority. Pierce's Place is less than a mile to Legacy beach, several public parks and all the downtown fun. Recently 100% renovated, all appliances are brand new. In the winter you'll be cozy with a pellet stove and thermostats in each room for adjustable heating comfort. In the winter there is space in the garage to park 1-mid sized vehicle. We have had truck-snowmobile trailer combos fit in the driveway also. In the summer, our cabin has full RV hookups available for an extra nightly cost.
Our street is a two lane road that accesses Ponderosa State Park and many residences and vacation homes on the east side of the lake. There will be cars, trucks pulling RVs and bikers, joggers, walkers passing in front of the cabin on Davis Ave all day in the busy months. Our cabin is separated by one road from a nice condo association which offers day or week passes and has a gym, sauna, outdoor and indoor pool, tennis and pickle ball courts. We love the location but it isn't out in the woods, it is in town. When the market is open, our kids go daily to spend their own money on treats. We have neighbors that are full-time residents in McCall and ask that you help us be good neighbors to them.
The City of McCall will be reconstructing Davis Ave in multiple phases during the summers of 2023 and 2024. We aren't sure yet how this will affect our cabin, but the City has assured us that access will not be affected other than the occasional restriction during times where construction may be taking place directly in front of our driveway. During those times, a flagger will provide access to the property when needed. We are excited for the upcoming updated bike lanes, utilities and sidewalks when this large construction project is completed. Until then, it is our hope that construction will not disrupt your use of our cabin - although this is not something we have any control over.
While we have some fans for you to use, our cabin is not equipped with central air conditioning.
Please note that both of the 55" televisions are "smart", but we do not leave them logged in with our streaming services. As such, you will need to come prepared to utilize your own logins. Please don't forget to log out when you leave!
We have done our best to outfit our cabin with all the conveniences of home - especially as it relates to stocking our kitchen with spices and cookware. It is our hope that you will find nothing lacking if you decide to cook a big meal.
