We're mid-way between the two Yosemite entrances (26 miles / 40 minutes to South Entrance via Rt 41; 45 miles / 1 hour to Arch Rock Entrance via Rt 140; 1 hour 20 minutes to Yosemite Valley). You're also close to several mountain towns, 16 minutes to Oakhurst and 21 minutes to Mariposa. After touring Yosemite, cool off at Bass Lake, 26 minutes away.
The cabin is on a gravel (unpaved) road and shares a driveway with another house on the lot that is about 150 feet away, separated by trees. The gravel driveway can be bumpy in spots, so be sure to drive slowly.
Although we are located on a quiet neighborhood road, we are close to the main road from Oakhurst to Mariposa (Rt 49). You will hear some road noise when you are outside.
The home itself is 1890 square feet and has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Inside, you'll find a kitchen that is fully stocked with a brand new french door refrigerator, 4 burner gas range, dishwasher, pots & pans, bakeware, a toaster, rice cooker, blender, toaster, microwave, air fryer, basic cooking supplies, silverware, plates/cups/bowls, coffee, tea, and more.
Next to the kitchen, you'll find a breakfast nook with seating that doubles as a dedicated workspace.
The living room includes a Smart Roku TV, so you can connect your own Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Hulu, etc. accounts. We have an assortment of board games and a gas fireplace for a cozy evening.
From the living room and master bedroom, you can access a back deck. It features a propane grill (tank included) for your BBQ and a seating area, so you can sip your tea as you watch the sun set into the mountains.
The master bedroom features a king bed, walk-in closet, and wall mounted Smart Roku TV. It's connected to the master bathroom, which includes two sink areas, a tub, and walk-in shower.
On the other side of the cabin, there are two cozy guest bedrooms outfitted with queen beds. These bedrooms share a full bathroom.
Finally, the garage is your game room. Play some ping pong on the table tennis table or a round of hoops with our Pop-A-Shot arcade game. Next to the garage is a brand new full sized washer and dryer if you need to clean up after a hike.
Cell phone coverage in the mountains can be spotty. We'll share our Wifi password in advance, so you can use your phone on the grounds.
Guest access
Please note that this cabin shares a driveway with another house on the lot that is about 150 feet away, separated by trees. You'll have your privacy, but please be respectful to the occupants of the other house and surrounding neighbors.
Also note that there is an outdoor Ring security camera attached to the front porch. This cabin is also equipped with a home security system that is not in use - you'll notice there are motion detectors inside. These motion detectors are NOT cameras.
