"Loved our stay at this darling renovated cottage. Nearly everything is new and clean while appointed with tasteful personal details. The house is so close to town but is surprisingly quiet and a quick walk to hiking trails. We love the multiple conversation areas throughout the property - inside and out. “We have vacationed in Carmel a number of times, never in a spot as sweet as this though. The house is just as it looks in the photos, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. We loved the inner courtyard for afternoon lounging. The rental is located on a lovely quiet street, yet also so close to the village. We are getting up in years and the short walk was a pleasure, literally a five minute jaunt to the shops and restaurants. The location can’t be beat. The accommodation was luxurious.
