This beautifully situated and spacious home is extremely private, tucked into a corner of North Shores, facing the Lewes/Rehoboth canal, wetlands, and Henlopen State Park. It has extraordinary views and spectacular sunsets from the "great room" (combined kitchen, living, and dining room area with a 30-foot ceiling), rear deck, screened porch, ground floor playroom, and principal bedroom. The house was designed by prize-winning architect Anthony Barnes, who was also the architect selected by Amazon founder Jeffrey Bezos for his new residence in Washington DC. It has numerous deck areas, two of which are fully enclosed for children; multiple common areas; a well-equipped kitchen; a wine refrigerator; a second refrigerator in the garage; a Jacuzzi tub in the principal bathroom; high speed wireless internet; 4 Smart TVs; bumper pool table; original paintings; free use of bikes; and many other amenities. The private community beach (with umbrella and chair rentals), swimming pool (summer only), free tennis and pickleball courts, and marina are just a short walk from the house, but renters who prefer not to walk or bike may park for free at a lot directly across the street from the beach next to the community swimming pool and courts. This is an easy way to get to the beach, especially for bringing equipment. The glorious biking and hiking trail from Gordon's Pond through the wetlands to Lewes is also very close by. About a mile south down the beach is downtown Rehoboth, with its boardwalk, Funland, and a wide array of restaurants and shops. Maximum Sleeping Capacity: Only 12 Permitted.
